Ranger® Boats Expands “Fish-n-Play” Product Line With Two New Reata Models for 2004
FLIPPIN, AR (September 19, 2003) To meet the demands of the ever-growing “Fish-n-Play” boating market, Ranger® Boats is introducing two new models in their popular Reata product line. The Ranger 190 Reata and 180 Reata have been designed to provide the most versatility, durability and premium quality of any boat in their respective size classes.
“The previous introduction of our 210 Reata (21-feet 4-inches) has proven highly successful with our customers and dealers because it demonstrated that you can have a boat with high fishability that still provides the flexibility needed for skiing and pleasure boating,” Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper said. “By adding the 190 and 180 Reata’s, we are able to give our customers more options by carrying over that flexibility and durability into more model sizes in the Fish-n-Play market.”
The 190 Reata is 19 feet in length and comes factory rigged with a choice of outboard engines from 150 to 200 horsepower. The front deck and mid section have been designed with extra space to provide ample room for fishing and skiing. There is also a ski tow for added safety and convenience.
In addition to two large locked storage compartments on the front deck, there is a separate eight-foot rod compartment that features a honeycomb arrangement of individual protective rod tubes. A full-size ski storage area is located between the seats in the mid section of the boat.
Additional fishing features include a 24-volt Minn Kota® trolling motor with heavy-duty six-gauge wire, Garmin® 160 fishfinder, and recirculating aerated livewell with filter screens and automatic timer. Other standard features on the 190 Reata include Sea Star Pro® fluid steering, competition steering wheel, keel protector, Clarion CD player with Sirus equipped satellite radio, two-bank on-board battery charger and stainless steel prop.
The 190 Reata comes with a matching RangerTrail® trailer that features a custom swing-away tongue, aluminum wheels, color-matched fiberglass fenders and hydraulic surge disc breaks. Also available is an optional custom fit canvas top.
