Ranger’s New Fisherman Series Models for 2003

FLIPPIN, AR (December 12, 2002) Ranger® Boats new model lineup for 2003 includes two new Fisherman Series boats. The Ranger 621VS is designed especially for walleye anglers who fish big bodies of water. The Ranger 618VS Fisherman has been engineered as a true multi-species rig.

Ranger 621VS

With a 94 3/4 inch beam, length of 21 feet 3 inches and inside depth of 25 inches, the Ranger 621VS is designed to adeptly handle big waves and rough water that occur often on large lakes, reservoirs and rivers. Flared bow contours and wide beam add to the fishability of the 621VS, which is available with a single or dual console. An exclusive pultruded fiberglass transom, fiberglass gussets and fiberglass stringer system have been engineered into the body of the 621VS to provide extra strength.

The 25-inch transom height of the 621VS allows it to be easily matched with the new popular four stroke outboards. The 621 has a maximum 250 horsepower capacity and carries up to 55 gallons of fuel. The fuel tanks are centrally positioned to create balanced weight distribution. Other performance enhancements include Rite-Track Keel™ design and Sea Star Pro steering.

A key feature is the 50-inch livewell equipped with an Air Venturi recirculating aeration system. Also included are a special pump-out feature, filter screens, and manual and automatic timer functions. In addition there is a built-in baitwell equipped with recirculating aeration located in front of the driver’s console.

Other standard features on the Ranger 621VS include integrated engine setback; precision matched outboard (from wide selection); heavy-duty trolling motor wiring and 50 amp breaker; a 3 bank, on-board battery charger; and skid resistant material on the bow.
