New for 2009: RANGER 211 REATA

Ranger's family friendly Reata line welcomes a new flagship

FLIPPIN, AR (July 23, 2008) Ranger's Reata line has long been synonymous with quality, performance and value for families that enjoy spending time on the water. As the 2009 model year kicks-off, the Reata line welcomes the all new Ranger 211, the next step in the evolution of the water-sports-ready fish `n' play.

Built on the same concept as the widely acclaimed Ranger 210, the 211 Reata brings new styling, more features and even more fun to suit the needs of boating families everywhere. The new 211 Reata features aesthetic advancements in the form of new striping, a redesigned driver's console, new bucket seats, a full rear bench and comes outfitted with all the hallmarks of a serious fish `n' play boat.

Measuring 21 feet, 4 inches with an impressive 93-inch beam, the 211 Reata is rated for 225 horsepower, giving it ample power to pull skiers or wake boarders while delivering a smooth, comfortable ride for everyone on board. Further equipped with a 43-gallon fuel tank, the 211 gives boaters even more time on the water between fill-ups.

"When the weekend rolls around, friends and families are looking to enjoy time on the lake without any compromise," said Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper. "We've developed the new 211 to give these water sports enthusiasts the perfect blend of fishing and fun in an extremely versatile, easy-to-tow and stow package."

Whether the day is spent fishing, playing or both, the 211 Reata provides the same kind of performance and stability that Ranger owners demand. On-board storage is impressive, highlighted by a carpeted rod locker, cavernous ski and wakeboard locker and lots of room for additional gear. The walk-through windshield design adds to the comfort and convenience of the boat which comes standard with either Lowrance or Humminbird electronics, a 24-volt Minn Kota Maxxum 70 trolling motor and on-board battery charger.

An optional wakeboard tower is new for 2009 and gives the 211 even more potential for those looking to get more out of their time on the water. A long standard feature list is complete with an insulated cooler, ski tow, stowable stainless steel boarding ladder, Sony AM/FM Sirius Satellite-capable radio and CD player and much more. The 211 Reata's redesigned instrument panel displays speed, tach, fuel, trim and water pressure.

The 211 Reata comes paired with its own custom-built RangerTrail® trailer. Designed to perfectly match the boat ensuring years of smooth and easy towing, the 211's trailer is equipped with Road Armor finish, L.E.D. lights and Ranger's COOL Hub® lubrication system as standard equipment. Designed and built in the same factory and to the same exacting specifications as all Ranger boats, RangerTrail® trailers are custom aligned with individually balanced wheels, feature swing-away tongues, swing jacks that retract flush to the frame as well as torsion axle suspension and locking.
